A Baby Story Part 2/4 | Baby Max | Georgetown Newborn Photographer

He is here!

You may remember me posting about Max's Mom and Dad and their precious maternity session? Well, Baby Max was born and he is adorable! I actually got to visit him twice for his newborn photos as little Maxwell wasn't too keen on photos the first time around. I actually Guest-Blogged about the situation over on Belovely You a few months back, if you care to read it!

I really love these photos. Maxwell has the sweetest Bambi vintage themed nursery. Helps that his mom owns her own vintage antique shop and has quite the eye for anything vintage and awesome! (Can you say New BFF?!)

I cannot wait until I see Max and his family again...next time he will look so grown up! Max is part of my Grow With Me, Baby Plan which means I get to see him FOUR times in his first year! Love that.

A Beloved Anniversary Gift | Port Credit Family Photography | Port Credit Photographer

Wow! These two lovebirds have lived in this home for 36 years.  And had their own wedding reception in the backyard 36 years ago!  When daughter, Jen, asked me to come over and document her parents with herself and her sister I said yes right away! What a sweet gesture! This family is awesome!! We hung out at home, went to the river where they spent many childhood hours together, and then back to the home for Saturday evening games night!! Its a tradition they all get together to play board games and as I snuck around the home documenting this event I could tell they were a close knit family filled with love.  And even though Dad may not have "wanted" his photos done...he was a great sport and I think I was able to capture how much he loves his three girls!

Violet's Baptism | Event Photography | North York Photographer

I met Dina, Anthony and their youngest beautiful babe a couple years ago when we met at Dutch Dreams Ice Cream Shop for a really fun lifestyle family session!  Flash forward a few years and a new addition arrives! The darling little Violet! I was thrilled when Dina asked me to photograph her Baptism.  What an honour! I truly love event photography....being able to document your special day from behind my lens, capturing all the special moments you may otherwise miss.

We began the day at the home. It is Italian tradition for the Godmother to dress the baby before the Christening and they wanted me to capture this.  I am so glad I did as I got to see Violet`s stunning nursery!  We then headed to the church, and afterward, the reception.  It was a long and eventful day but Violet was a trooper and still smiling when I left several hours later!

God Bless little girl!♥

Grandpa D's Farm | Ballinifad Family Photographer

I was asked by "Grandpa D"`s daughter to come out to his gorgeous horse farm one evening and photograph the family. It was Grandpa`s birthday (I won`t say how young he is, you can guess!) and these photos were a special surprise for him! I loved watching the grand-kids interact with him, especially the oldest. They have a special bond that Grandparents tend to get with their first born grandchildren! (He is the one who nicknamed him "Grandpa D")  I am still awestruck by the beauty of this property! And the red hair. Photographers love redheads...especially this one :)

Fall Family Walk at Hungry Hollow | Georgetown Family Photographer

This is the third time I have been privileged to photograph this family! The first time was when the baby was born, then we did a fall family session later that year. And now Ysa is growing up and walking and running and getting into mischief with his older brothers!  I absolutely love when families come back to me time and time again. It means the world to me ♥

I cannot wait until our next session together!

Apple Picking | Georgetown Family Photographer | Big Apple Farm

Another lovely fall family session. This Autumn has been beautiful weather which makes shooting outdoors so much more enjoyable! Love these girls....Izabella is a wonderful and protective big sister, and loves the camera. And Viktoria...well she is a little ham! Love those rolls and mischievous grin ♥

Books and Bubbles | Georgetown Family Photography | Scotsdale Farm

I first met the Seibel Family last year for some cold winter snowy family photos! This year Mom decided to do them a bit earlier so we didn't have to wear big puffy winter jackets! This Autumn has been GLORIOUS! The weather is to die for and the kids are still wearing shorts to school in October!

I asked the Seibels to bring along some activities they love doing. The girls love reading so they brought a couple books and I lugged along my new pink chair - isn't it awesome!?

Loved this evening ... and already cannot wait until next year!

Mother's Day Mini Sessions | On Film | Georgetown Ontario Family Photographer

I am shooting more film again. And I am in LOVE with film. The colours always turn out perfect, no more spending hours and hours at the computer trying to make a digital image LOOK like film, or at least look correct.  There is something magic about it.  Viewing my film scans give me a sense of nostalgia....It brings me back to when I was a child, a teen, a young adult and the thousands of images I shot and developed and crammed into endless amounts of photo albums.

After several years of shooting digital, I feel a twist in the gameplan...to go back to film.  I do not think I will go back completely, there is something "safe" about digital and being able to shoot thousands of images at once, especially if I am shooting a wedding or fast running children! However, I am planning to start incorporating some film into some sessions and see where it takes me.  Likely somewhere that makes my heart sing! ♥

If you are interested in a film only session - couples, family, children, newborn...send me an email and I will give you a special promo rate!

Anyway...enough about film and me....just show us the images BobbiJo!! A handful of film shots from last weekend.  They are in no means perfect. I have a long way to go to "relearn" this craft! But i do love the colours!

Baby Rielle | Brampton Ontario Newborn Photography

2 weeks after meeting this gorgeous baby in the hospital, I had the pleasure of visiting her at home!  She was definitely loved by her sweet twin sisters! We spent a lovely morning chatting and hanging out and capturing some every day moments, as well as some more posed images as well.

Thank you for letting me join you during this beautiful time in your lives! ♥

Logan ♥ | Fresh 48 Session | Ajax, ON Photographer

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE these hospital newborn sessions?

Oh wait, yes I have! Several Times! They make my heart sing, and not just because I am due to have my own baby soon! (And yes, I have someone ready to photograph my family at the hospital too :)

Little sister met her baby brother for the first time and I was there. Such an amazing moment. And also the first time Logan's grandparents met him. I know it was tough for them to stay out of the way while I photographed the first meeting, as I am sure they wanted to grab him and snuggle him. You can see how many photos this guys has of himself already though! No one could put down the camera! I don't blame them..he is ADORABLE.

The L Clan - Port Stanley Erie Rest Beach

My best friend since pretty much birth. Even our parents grew up together. So it seems right that I would be the one to photograph this family, who I often call my own!

Mind you, most of them do not really like getting photos taken, but you really can't tell. Just like you can't tell it rained in the middle of this session, so the whole thing was shot in about 20 minutes! Not really the quality time I like to spend with my dear friend whom I do not get to see enough as it is! :(

So it was gloomy, overcast, rainy. But they smiled, and the pictures are wonderful! I hope Mom and Dad love them!

The clan leaders!

Urban Family - Port Stanley

My favourite family to photograph! I love that I get to shoot this family so many times a year. Maybe because Mom is one of my best friends? Likely.

This time we decided that even though there were some gorgeous fall colours out there, we were going to shoot in the small village that Karla and I grew up in. Its a super cute fishing village on Lake Erie, south of London Ontario, and directly across the lake from Cleveland, Ohio. I will be posting a little blog about the village shortly!

You can see  a beautiful fashion session with Mom

I scream for Ice Cream! | Dutch Dreams Toronto

I asked Dina - what does your family love to do together? Her reply - go for ice cream!

So that is what we did!

Not only that, the location she chose,

Dutch Dreams

in Toronto, was where they went on one of their first dates!  (before their daughter arrived!)

What a perfect, crazy, colourful location. I cannot belive I have never been to this place, the line up was out the door and it was impossible to find a place to sit! You will understand why when you see the ice cream!

love all these shots with mom! ♥

Urban Baby - Toronto Family Photography

I was so excited with Michelle asked me to come over and photograph her family! Michelle and I have been friends for a few years now and I was uber excited when I found out she was joining the Mom Club!

This family is awesome, their house is an amazing urban nest of love!

This session was shot in a documentary style, hanging out.

 Real.

Just a simple story of Love and togetherness.

Michelle, Linus and Mikas, It was a pleasure.

Sunny Spring Afternoon - Milton Family Photography - Kelso Park

Again, for the third time, introducing my gorgeous cousin and her family...all four of them!

I photographed the

maternity session

and

Baby Zach's first day

at the hospital.

Now I got to hang out with the whole family of four, all together, on a nice sunny afternoon in Milton. We met at Kelso Park. It was my first time there, and definately not last! Great spot for a family afternoon!

Enjoy!

When did this little beauty grow up? Hard to believe she is only 3!

Once again, in love with all of these images! And the best part....they are family and I get to photograph them over and over!

Billy-bear - Oshawa Newborn Photography

OH MY! I do not know what to say about this family or this adorable little man! Or even about his beautiful nursery!! What style his mom has! Lindsay's mom and I work together and I am so happy that Grandma referred her daughter to me for her newborn photos. It was a bit of a drive for me, but totally worth as I am in love with these sweet and soft images. I wish all client's had light in their homes like this!

Billy was a dream to photograph, I do not think I heard him cry once! This post is HUGE, because i really could not decide on which images to show!

I really hope I get to photograph you all again one day,

Love Bee xo

Baby Lucas | Richmond Hill Newborn

Months ago I met this beautiful family for

Ivy's maternity session.

I went back this month to photograph the whole family, including the new addition, Baby Lucas! What a cutie, lots of hair, lots of smiles! I love how these images turned out, we got a great mix of real moments and some posed family shots!

Enjoy!

Thanks you to Ivy, Larry, Chloe and Lucas for allowing me to enter your home and share a sneak peak of your lives

Love, Bee  xo

Kate | Lakeshore Burlinton, Ontario

Another fun family shoot! It was a little chilly but Kate did well, she just wanted to run and play! And that we did! Love her red hair too, I have a thing for little ginger girls!
