A Beloved Anniversary Gift | Port Credit Family Photography | Port Credit Photographer

Wow! These two lovebirds have lived in this home for 36 years.  And had their own wedding reception in the backyard 36 years ago!  When daughter, Jen, asked me to come over and document her parents with herself and her sister I said yes right away! What a sweet gesture! This family is awesome!! We hung out at home, went to the river where they spent many childhood hours together, and then back to the home for Saturday evening games night!! Its a tradition they all get together to play board games and as I snuck around the home documenting this event I could tell they were a close knit family filled with love.  And even though Dad may not have "wanted" his photos done...he was a great sport and I think I was able to capture how much he loves his three girls!

Grandpa D's Farm | Ballinifad Family Photographer

I was asked by "Grandpa D"`s daughter to come out to his gorgeous horse farm one evening and photograph the family. It was Grandpa`s birthday (I won`t say how young he is, you can guess!) and these photos were a special surprise for him! I loved watching the grand-kids interact with him, especially the oldest. They have a special bond that Grandparents tend to get with their first born grandchildren! (He is the one who nicknamed him "Grandpa D")  I am still awestruck by the beauty of this property! And the red hair. Photographers love redheads...especially this one :)

Oscar | Fresh 48 | Credit Valley Hospital Mississauga | Mississauga Newborn Photographer

I cannot take credit for all of these photos. My wonderful husband took over the camera to document me with our new little guy, right after he was born. I think he did a great job for being a non-photographer. Well, I should not say that, he actually loves taking photos. But when the camera is on Auto mode only :)

I love them. I love that he captured those first moments that I held my new child. I love that I now have these images forever and I can oooh and aaah over them just as my client`s tell me they do when they see the images I took for them. And now I understand when they tell me they cry or get teary when they first see the Fresh 48 images of their own birth experience.

The second group of images I took from the confines of my hospital bed. Having my third c-section, I was stuck in bed until the evening, so I did what I could from there! I still have hundreds of photos to wade through from that first day of Oscar's life, as well as the next 4 days at the hospital.  I will get to them but for today I am going to post my OWN Fresh 48 session. Or I should say, Fresh 12....since they were all taken immediately after birth for the first few hours!

To my hubby...thank you ♥

To my new little man...I ♥ you.

Where I Grew Up | Port Stanley, Ontario | Port Stanley Photography

I recently submitted a feature about my small hometown of Port Stanley, Ontario. The town where I was raised, schooled, had my first job, made my first and (present) best friends, grew up, learned lessons, and maybe even got into some trouble now and then!

Population 2100. A bit of a ghost town in the summer, but a thriving beach town in the summer!

I do love going back to visit, enjoy the beach and take my husband and kids around to all my old favorite spots.  Its nostalgic and heartwarming, full of forever memories.

You can see my featured work here on Everyday Bloom.

And no blog post is complete without a few photos :)

PS. I LOVE shooting in Port Stanley;  at the beach, in the village, or outside of town. If you are in that area and interested in a session with Love Bee Photography,  send me an email and I'll let you know when I am there!

Katie ♥ Jeff | Port Stanley Beach

My best friend's little sis and her fiance....such a sweet girl!  well, now...she used to terrorize us when we were kids! But who's little siblings didn't? :)

I can't wait for part two of this session, coming soon. It got dark out really fast so we lost light and did not get what we wanted, so why not do more?!

Hello Gorgeous! | Port Stanley

Karla and I have been friends basically since we were born. She is gorgeous, inside and out. Anytime she wants to do photos of her family, I am always willing to jump on that opportunity (they are all gorgeous!). This time it was all about her. She wanted to put on her wedding dress, from 8 years ago. And yes ladies, she can still fit in it! (jealous?! I am!)

We did this session with both digital and film! I am really excited to be getting out my old film camera again!

 And some on old film....
